The Yorkshire office of Bardsley Construction is delivering a £6.2m student accommodation development in Sheffield.
The £60m turnover family-owned firm is constructing the six-storey block at Hannah Court, Matilda Street, in Sheffield on behalf of Venture Property Group.
On completion in August 2017, Hannah Court will offer 103 ensuite studio apartments, offices, a management suite and residents’ communal hub.
Alongside Bardsley on the project team are WCEC Architects, Curtins Engineers, mechanical and electrical specialist Futureserv and cost and project manager Abacus.

The Halifax Academy for Calderdale Council is new 2 Form Entry Primary School, two storey construction with a total GFA of 2,116m2 - £4.5m;
The West Yorkshire History Centre, 3 storeys incorporating archive storage to the top two floors and multi-purpose space to ground floor including foyer reception with café, exhibition space, learning zones, enquiries office and secure search room, conservation studio. the three-storey archive facility for Wakefield Council housing more than 10 million records of Wakefield and the former counties of West Yorkshire and West Riding, for Wakefield Council and joint services - £6.4m;
Wakefield College Advances Skills & Innovation Centre, a 3 storey steel frame building with holorib concrete floors, and single ply roof. The elevations are a mix of brick and trespa cladding with aluminium windows on a SFS support structure. External works, services and drainage provisions to the new facility as part of the wider campus plan - £5m;
Fernbank Extra Care Facility for The Abbeyfield Society, provides a state-of-the-art extra care and dementia unit on the site of the former Bingley Hospital, Bradford. With the construction of 47 extra care apartments, 30 dementia apartments, together with a day centre. Inclusive of hard and soft landscaping and drainage works - £10.5m;
And X1 Aire, 147 apartments over 13 storeys of concrete frame, together with associated external works and drainage - £13.9m.
