Our best and brightest apprentices gained recognition for their hard work and achievements at our annual Apprentice Day, held at the Marriott Worsley Park Hotel.
The Apprentice Awards allows Bardsley to recognise those Apprentices who have excelled in their department. Bardsley employs 17 apprentices and trainees in craft, technical and commercial skill areas across their three regions of North West, Yorkshire and Midlands.
The Apprentice of the Year award went to Jonathan Swift, L3 Brickwork Apprentice, in recognition of the quality of his workmanship, ability to understand what is required and for his positive attitude. He received the award and a cheque for £250 from Operations Director, Trevor Hough Jonathan, aged 20, was inspired to become a bricklayer and mentored throughout his apprenticeship by his father, Darren Swift, whose bricklaying skills and experience spans 17 years service at Bardsley.

Keiran Nicholson, L2 Joinery and Carpentry Apprentice, also received an award for Outstanding Apprentice Achievement and a cheque for £100 from Trevor.
Keiran aged 20, received praise for his excellent attendance onsite and in college, his keenness to learn in the classroom and his high standard of work.
