Bardsley has partnered with Fusion21 and CITB to provide work placements for 2 Merseyside Apprentices at the Regal Road & Sceptre Road projects for Cobalt Housing.

Jodieanne Fitzgerald and Daniel Byrne, both Cobalt residents, had to fight off tough competition from over 60 applicants who applied for the Apprenticeship.

Bardsley is delighted to welcome the very first female assigned to the company under the Shared Apprenticeship scheme. Eighteen year old Jodieanne Fitzgerald is not only the first female Apprentice at Bardsley, but also the first female to be recruited by Fusion21 as a Maintenance Operative (Multi-Skilled) Apprentice.

Jodie and Daniel will gain on-site training in various disciplines such as Joinery, Trowel Occupations, Painting & Decorating and Plumbing to support their Level 2 NVQ studies at Fullagar Construction Skills Centre in St. Helens.
