Bardsley have been awarded a new contract by Baker Hughes, who are one of the world’s largest oilfield services companies operating in over 90 countries, providing the oil and gas industry with products and services, for the redevelopment of their existing facility at Kirkby, Liverpool.
The phased works to the existing petrochemical site will include the following:
- strip out and refurbishment of their 2 storey administration building to provide office space and conference facilities;
- construction of a new single storey block to provide specialist laboratory space, reception area and office space;
- strip out and refurbishment of their 3 storey International Technology Centre laboratory block to provide new specialist laboratories, conference facilities, training rooms and office space;
- demolition of existing warehouses and construction of a new 1900m2 storage warehouse and
associated service yards and car parking.
The £13m project will take place at their existing facility in Kirkby, Liverpool and will commence on site in November 2013 for an 18 month period. The Baker Hughes site and facilities will remain fully operational throughout our works.
