Baker Hughes | Kirkby, Liverpool

Bardsley worked with Baker Hughes, one of the world’s largest oilfield service companies operating in over 90 countries, providing the oiland gas industry with products and services, for the redevelopment of their existing facility at Kirkby, Liverpool. The phased works to the existing petrochemical site included the design and construction of the following:

Strip out & refurbishment of their two storey administration building to provide office space and conference facilities

Construction of a new single storey block to provide specialist laboratory space, reception area and office space

Construction of a new amenity building of a modular construction providing new shower/changing facilities, canteen/break out area, laundry room, store rooms and associated external works.

Strip out & refurbishment of their three storey InternationalTechnology Centre laboratory block to provide new specialist laboratories,  conference facilities, training rooms and office space.

Demolition of existing warehouses

Refurbishment of an existing warehouse, which included asbestos removal, additional steel to strengthen the
structure, new external cladding, new roof work, associated lighting and fire detection.

The £13m project took place at their existing facility in Kirkby, Liverpool and facilities remained fully operational throughout our works.
