Work has begun on the design and build of a new 300 place post 16 college to incorporate the following facilities; science/creative expressive arts block, refurbishment of old science/arts areas for IT business administration, new corridor to humanities block to increase sizes of teaching spaces, floodlighting to the all weather multi-use area and additional parking and external works. Designed by Architects Hartington Fleming Worsley Ltd., the £6.5millon project will start on site December 1339 with completion expected the following December 2010.
