Bardsley began work on a new 3 storey steel frame teaching facility to acheive a 'Very Good' BREEAM rating. Architects, Halsall Lloyd Partnership have focused on up-to-date space planning of teaching areas and using natural light to enhance the quality of space. Long corridors were redesigned introducing transitional spaces, while skillful use of a selective palette of natural materials, including copper, produces a highquality feel. The £5million plus project is carried out within a live environment and is expected to be completed by September 2010.
