With in excess of 45 years heritage, Bardsley has a solid foundation upon which a dynamic, innovative and creative multi disciplinary business has been built. The £70+ million turnover Company has grown to be the byword in delivery and customer satisfaction. This success has been secured through our commitment to Partnership and collaborative working with public and private sector client groups including Local Authorities, Education Bodies, Housing Associations, NHS Trusts and Health Authorities. For these organisations we undertake Design and Build and Traditional contracts with considerable Partnering Arrangements totaling over £120 million of contract value to date. 78% of our contract workload is secured from repeat clients and we have gained appointments to a number of Partnering Framework Agreements with Housing Association consortia and Education providers across the North West of England. Our diverse workload includes the construction of education facilities, medical centres, leisure facilities, sporting facilities, offices, industrial and retail premises not to mention over 1,500 homes built for our wider client base over the last six years. We have a wealth of experience in refurbishment and conversion projects including work on behalf of Local Authorities to housing stock, schools and other civic and municipal buildings. We employ a team of directly employed committed and talented people and our apprentice programme ensures that we guarantee our future assets. Our ambition is to constantly refine and improve our working practices, adopting a non-adversarial approach to project management and always aim to deliver an excellent product to specification, within budget and on time. Currently, we have delivered our last 149 projects within programme; an achievement which we believe is quite unique in the construction arena. We are committed to environmental protection and sustainability and have applied rigorous policies and procedures to ensure we minimise our impact on the globe. We promote recycling of materials and seek to minimise both material and energy waste. We operate the most demanding Health & Safety Procedures and expect the same of those working with us resulting in accident and incident rates significantly lower than national trends. We are also fully committed to quality management and have achieved ISO 9001 accreditation and in addition, we are one of only a very few constructors with both ISO 14001 environmental accreditation and OHSAS 18001 for our Health & Safety procedure. Not surprisingly, we have received a string of awards and accolades in recognition of our efforts. We strive to become the best building company in the North West through the relentless implementation of new techniques, strategies and procedures, and alliances with high quality supply chain partners with equally high aspirations.
